Multimax B: Advanced Eloma Technology, Now With Traditional Controls

Eloma Responds to Market Demand, Launches Traditional Control Combi at NAFEM Show

Almost since the introduction of the first combi oven in North America in 1976, end-users have been of two minds about this equipment's controls. Automatic cooking programs and recipe pre-sets could be great, but operators wanted simplicity of use, sturdiness and reliability, as well. For too long, restaurants and foodservices couldn't have it all from just one combi. Until now: Eloma has taken the design and technology of its popular Genius T line of combi ovens and combined it with a traditional knob-based control panel to create the new Multimax B.

Identical in function to the Genius T is line, the Multimax B is boilerless, comes in the same sizes (from six- to 20-pan capacities), offers highly energy-efficient performance and precise control over cooking chamber heat and humidity. Like all Eloma units, the Multimax B is a boilerless model that cooks with heat, steam or a combination of both.

"Many operators like the simplicity and sturdiness of knob controls, but they also like the features and benefits that only Eloma combi ovens provide. With the Multimax B, they can have both," noted Mitch Cohen, Vice President of Cooking System Sales for Eloma.

According to Cohen, one of the primary markets for the Multimax B is school foodservices, where many kitchen staffers prefer a traditional control panel. Casino foodservice operations have also expressed interest in Multimax B's simplified controls, he added.

Like all Eloma products, the Multmax B features a patented heat-exchange system that helps keep utility and water usage low these new combis also come with an automatic self-cleaning system as a standard feature-a benefit many combi manufacturers exclude from all but their high-end products.

The Multimax B will be launched during the NAFEM Show, October 11-13, 2007 in the Atlanta, Convention Center at booth #2905. The Multimax B is currently available for immediate shipment.

Combi oven manufacturer Eloma has a 30-year record of reliable, energy-efficient performance in professional kitchens around the globe. As part of Aga Foodservice Equipment, Germany-based Eloma entered the U.S. market in 2007, joining fellow foodservice manufacturing companies, Victory Refrigeration, Stellar Steam and Infinity Fryers,
