Infinity brought its full range of model configurations to the Western Restaurant Show in Los Angeles, CA, displaying five fryers, all three of its control panel options, several dump stations and a live example of its filtration system that allows a full tank of oil to be filtered easily in just three minutes without powders or papers. Infinity's ability to fry at lower temperatures, extending oil life, and to use some 30% less oil to prepare the same amount of product as traditional 50-lbs. models was also promoted at the Aga Foodservice Equipment booth (#1359) by POS signage and the fryer maker's new "Less Is More" marketing piece.
Mitch Cohen, AFE's VP of Cooking Systems, noted that key Western Show attendees for Infinity included personnel from West Coast chains, regional consultants and area rep groups. "Because we are still very much in the brand building phase with Infinity, we need to put our fryers in front of as many high-volume end-users, specifiers and salespeople as possible," he related. "Once they see all the ways Infinity fryers can cut energy costs and oil use, and recognize that the equipment is ENERGY STAR®-certified, our prospects for new sales generally improve."
Infinity fryers' category-leading energy efficiency was also promoted during the Western Show by their presence in a booth hosted by ENERGY STAR and several local gas and electricity companies where some of the most efficient at the show was exhibited. "Reducing energy consumption and costs is just about the number one concern for operators and specifiers on the West Coast these days," Cohen stressed. "Promoting Infinity's performance in this area was a major reason for our presence at he Western Show this year."
He added that part of increasing industry awareness of the Infinity brand is communicating the message that the company's fryers include the same attributes of advanced design highly efficient performance and unsurpassed reliability as the rest of the products manufactured by the Aga Foodservice Equipment division. "What we're seeking to do by increasing recognition for each brand is to make end-users and specifiers aware that all equipment made by Aga, both hot side and cold side, offers the same high-efficiency, high-build quality, advanced-design value proposition," Cohen advised.
