New York Show-Goers Flock To Infinity Fryers

Attendees at the November 12th through 14th New York International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show were much in evidence at many fryer-makers' booths, but no products drew a more enthusiastic response than the equipment displayed by Infinity. Noted Mitch Cohen, VP of Cooking System Sales for Infinity (and Stellar and Eloma), "Many operators and specifiers told us that they had looked at quite a few different fryers at the New York Show, but once they compared features and performance with our products, Infinity was their number one choice."

Cohen added that New York Show attendees related that they were most impressed with Infinity fryers' category-leading energy and oil savings, simplicity of operation, cooking speed and easy filtration. "Having a dedicated fryer in the booth that we used to demonstrate our filtering system helped everyone who came to our display understand how Infinity filters their frying media safely, without powders or papers, in under three minutes," he commented. "This demonstration also helped us to explain that easy filtration can extend oil life, improve fried foods taste and quality and reduce the presence of trans-fats."

Infinity's presence in the Aga Foodservice Equipment booth at the New York Show helped to draw crowds of chain and independent end-users, dealers and area consultants, as well as reps from throughout the Northeast, according to Cohen. Infinity fryers' strong comparative value proposition resulted in the generation of a handful of new orders and numerous sales leads. "The Infinity section of the booth was just packed," related Cohen, who performed many of the fryer filtering demonstrations during the New York Show. "Foot traffic was strong at our booth from opening to closing."

One of the reasons Infinity fryers are now winning increasing market share among end-users in many commercial and noncommercial segments is the fact that they require less oil and energy to perform equivalently to traditional 50-lbs. models. Cost-conscious operators and specifiers are becoming increasingly aware that Infinity products can not only decrease daily operating expenses, but also dramatically reduce life-cycle costs throughout the equipment's years of usage.

"Another point we're looking to get across to industry members is that Infinity fryers are not only designed to work more efficiently than competitors' models, they are also built to perform reliably longer," Cohen explained. "That's why we can back them with our exclusive two-year standard parts and labor warranty."
