During its first full year in the North American market, Infinity has made dramatic increases in the sales of its high-efficiency fryer line.

    According to Mitch Cohen, VP of Cooking System Sales for the Aga Foodservice Equipment division, Infinity's volume has risen by nearly 100% so far this year compared to 2005 performance. This is due in large part to operators' and specifiers' increasing concerns over energy consumption and costs, and Infinity's increasing reputation for outstanding reliability in high-volume foodservice operations.

    "We've seen consistent movement over the past months toward equipment models that are category leaders in the area of energy- and resource efficiency," Cohen pointed out. "Infinity's fryers are quickly becoming known for their ability to cook faster and at lower temperatures than conventional models, as well as their ENERGY STAR^®-certifications and lower oil requirements, which further reduce operating costs and decrease waste-disposal expenses."

    Cohen further attributed Infinity's sales breakthrough to greater acceptance of the company's leading-edge technology by end-users in the national and regional QSR chain and education foodservice markets. "For the first time, we're seeing significant sales for Infinity in both the higher education and K through 12 market sectors," he advised. "We think, however, that Infinity also has significant potential for greater sales volume in large, commercial retail-food environments, in addition to healthcare foodservices."

    Cohen further commented that Infinity's growing reputation for dependable unit-level performance has become so strong that both commercial and noncommercial end-users are now volunteering to endorse the company's equipment in a new testimonial campaign that is currently being developed for AFE.
