AFE To Build On Cross-The-Board Sales Growth At New York Show

"When you've got a compelling story to tell, the way we do now at Aga Foodservice Equipment, you can't wait to put it before a big audience," commented Mark Whalen, president of AFE and its flagship company, Victory Refrigeration. "This has been a year of positive sales growth for all of our brands and we see exhibiting at the New York International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show to be the best way for us to share our competitive value proposition with the maximum number of end-users and specifiers before 2006 draws to a close."

Whalen emphasized that the sales successes achieved by AFE's Victory, Infinity, Stellar and Eloma brands has been founded on the companies' enduring commitment to category-leading energy, oil and/or water efficiency, unsurpassed build quality and performance dependable enough to be backed by exclusive two-year standard parts and labor warranties. Based on 2006's excellent sales results to date, Whalen expects to see a steady influx of of buyers and specifiers of refrigeration and cooking equipment at AFE's booth #1438, most notably those involved with the noncommercial healthcare and education markets, catering and remote-feeding programs, and commercial chain and independent restaurants. AFE executives will also meet with rep firm principals, current and prospective dealers, and New York-area consultants during the show at Jacob Javits Conference Center.

Whalen noted that the event in New York will mark the first show where AFE products will be demonstrated live by professional chefs. Chef-consultant Mike Nicholson and Corporate Chef Vincent Van Delft from Eloma (IGermany) will be preparing entrees, side dishes and and dessert items throughout the New York Show using such AFE equipment as Eloma boilerless combis, as well as storing their ingredients and holding finished products in Victory reach-in refrigerators.

Eloma's area of AFE's show booth will also feature its "Blue Wonder" cut-away combi oven that uses tinted sequential interior lighting to demonstrate the workings of its exclusive AutoClean® system. Infinity will also be displaying an example of its ENERGY STAR®-certified fryers' filtering system that allows operating staff to clean an entire tank of frying oil in just four minutes.

"We'll have cooking and equipment-feature demonstrations all around our booth, so we're looking to build on the traffic we expect to draw to continue our ongoing sales expansion," Whalen remarked.
