NAFEM Boosts AFE Sales Efforts, Corporate Goals
|
The 2007 NAFEM Show, held in Atlanta from October 11 to October 13, is in the books, and Mark Whalen, president of Victory Refrigeration and of Aga Foodservice Equipment, said he is pleased with how the event went for his companies. AFE had significant traffic in its booth through most of the show, he noted, including many visits from individuals who have responsibility for major E&S purchasing decisions.
Coming into the show, Whalen said, AFE had set a goal of reinforcing its three-pronged value proposition of offering products with category-leading energy efficiency, unsurpassed reliability and differentiated features. AFE also made extra efforts to promote its Eloma combi oven brand, which introduced two new product lines in the weeks leading up to NAFEM.

Victory's Back Bar And Other Products Earn Positive NAFEM Reviews
According to Mark Whalen, president of Victory Refrigeration, as well as Aga Foodservice Equipment, Victory entered the 2007 NAFEM Show on somewhat of a roll. "We have good relationships and really good momentum with the Victory brand," he related. "That brought a lot of people into our booth to see Victory's products. Once again, our message of being a green company, an ENERGY STAR® leader, is really registering now in the market."
For those who made it to the company's booth during the NAFEM Show, which was held from October 11 to October 13 in Atlanta, Victory did its part to live up to the axiom, "If it's new, it's at NAFEM," by showcasing two product lines that were introduced earlier this year, as well as an enhanced control panel for its blast chiller units.

Chains Show Strong Interest In Infinity At NAFEM
According to Mitch Cohen, vice president of cooking system sales for Aga Foodservice Equipment's Infinity Fryers, as well as Eloma and Stellar Steam, the 2007 NAFEM Show proved beneficial to all three of his companies.
"The show [which was held in Atlanta from October 11 to October 13] was extremely busy for us. We had a lot of attendees in the booth interested in all of our lines. There were lots of consultants, dealers and representatives from chains and other large end-users," he said. Almost all of these visitors were high-quality contacts, Cohen added, with the authority to either specify, sell or purchase equipment.

Eloma, Stellar Showcase New Products At NAFEM
Eloma and Stellar Steam entered the 2007 NAFEM Show, which took place from October 11 to October 13 in Atlanta, seeking to build further industry brand awareness and to give large numbers of foodservice professionals their first look at several recently introduced products.
According to Mitch Cohen, vice president of cooking system sales for Aga Foodservice Equipment companies Eloma and Stellar Steam, as well as Infinity Fryers, the first part of this task was accomplished at the show in part through the popular practice of hosting live cooking demonstrations, which were performed, in this case, on Eloma combi ovens. Samples of the meal items produced by the AFE equipment and corporate chefs was on offer throughout the show.
