With incorporation of new acquisitions Stellar Steam and Eloma combi ovens now proceeding at full speed, Aga Foodservice Equipment is developing a new strategy that will more fully integrate products across the company's brand line-up to benefit end-users, specifiers and other channel partners.
"Victory Refrigeration, with its broad product line and established reputation, serves as the platform for our U.S. operations and is a key part of Aga Foodservice Group's global strategy," explained Mark Whalen, president of AFE and Victory. "Now that Infinity, Eloma and Stellar are all functioning within our division, our next task is to see how our products can work more effectively together according to our common principals of environmental consciousness, high energy efficiency, technical innovation and reliability."

Victory To Relaunch Web Site
As part of its ongoing effort to communicate information about its products and services more efficiently to channel partners and end-users, Victory Refrigeration is currently reorganizing and redesigning its main web site, www.victory-refrig.com.
The site redevelopment, which began earlier this summer, will include easier and more logical access to Victory product lines and individual models, as well as technical manuals, spec sheets and end-user guides. Site users will also be able to select more quickly among Victory's online support services, find energy-use comparisons and an energy savings calculator, contact Victory dealers and reps, and subscribe to the Aga Foodservice Equipment eNews monthly e-letter.

Initial Field Trials Confirm Fryers' Value
After less than six months of inaugural sales and U.S. field trials, the current models of Infinity fryers are proving that their reputation for superior design, cost savings and unsurpassed performance is well founded. Now operating in QSR outlets, independent restaurants, K - 12 school foodservices and hotel kitchens nationwide, Infinity fryers are preparing a wide variety of pre-breaded products while demonstrating ease of filtration, extended oil life and lower energy consumption than conventional models.
Mitch Cohen, VP of Cooking Systems for Infinity, Stellar Steam and Eloma combi ovens, pointed out that earlier field trials had helped to drive the continuous improvement process that underpins Infinity fryers' noteworthy performance. "Prior tests in real-world operations showed us several ways we could upgrade our oil filtration system, for example," he commented. "Now, Infinity fryers can filter a full tank of oil in just three minutes, twice as fast as before. This speed and the elimination of any need for paper or powders encourages more frequent filtering, which helps to preserve oil quality, leading to better-tasting fried foods." Other recently introduced Infinity features include standard casters on all four legs and a choice of eight-button, 16-button or knob-operated controls.

Eloma Leads The Market Move To Smaller Combi Ovens
Having arrived in the U.S. this year with two countertop boilerless combi oven models - a six-pan (#6-11) and a 10-pan unit (#10-11) - Eloma is proving that big performance and savings can come in small packages. This market position should help the company establish its North American reputation, as increasing numbers of operators and specifiers are selecting compact combis as the most affordable way to gain entry to the benefits provided by this most flexible cooking technology.
"Ten years ago, people thought combis were only for high-volume operations and large institutions," noted Bob McLoughlin, VP of Product Management for Eloma. "Now, more and more smaller operators, including independent restaurants, are demonstrating that you don't need multiple equipment pieces or big kitchens to apply steaming, convection and radiant heating to menu preparation."
